The sound of twin Fender Stratocaster guitars in harmony mimic the call of Antarctic penguins in this surf-like twelve bar blues. The mandolin rhythm substitutes for the high hat of a drum kit. The acoustic guitar rhythm adds mid-range. Phil plays congas, djembe, and assorted other hand drums. Eddie Guthman on bass. The penguins live in isolation and this tune was composed in isolation during the pandemic. Listen carefully to the sounds of the penguins crying.
